SWITCH SPORTS OPEN
THE COMPETITION
On 30 April, in collaboration with Nintendo and the launch of Nintendo Switch Sports, Rubius hosted a very special IRL tournament between streamers, the Switch Sports Open, on his Twitch channel.
17 streamers, split into four teams, played the different sports included in the videogame in order to win the tournament. Ultimately the LittleRagerGirl team won: Dario Eme Hache, Abby, Mery Soldier and Elesky.
The event was hosted by Masi and Alexby11, with an exceptional quality production thanks to the Noob team.
THE REPERCUSSION
The audience welcomed the tournament with great enthusiasm, flooding the stream chat and social media with positive messages towards Rubius and the participating streamers.
The tournament reached more than 700,000 views on Twitch, with an average of 33,000 concurrent viewers reaching a peak of 100,000 viewers.
Several of the participating streamers made videos of their experience at the event, accumulating more than 300,000 views of organic content from content creators on YouTube.
